The Development Program at Madlab is often just referred to as D.P.
D.P. is a program tailored to those interested in pursuing fitness as more than an outlet. It's for anyone who wants fitness to be their sport.
A solid base and an understanding of your body is needed to get the most out of this program, and it is typical for members to train for two to three years in Madlabs Group Training classes before joining D.P.
With a bias towards olympic weightlifting and high-skill gymnastics, D.P. is designed for those seeking the upper echelon of fitness.
D.P. is run and programmed by Madlabs Head Coach and Director, Coach Tom.
We lift stuff, we carry stuff. We hinge, squat, push and pull. We run, bike, row and skip.
We move our bodies in practical and impractical ways. We train joints along with muscles. We train the heart and the lungs.
We expose people’s weaknesses and create a plan to fix them.
We teach you why you are not the same as everyone else and why that matters when exercising.
There’s no secret formula to training here. Just a team of coaches working hard to make you better. A community that has your back. And a space where you’re celebrated for your commitment, not your performance. That’s our simple formula that makes the magic happen.

We all know that consistency is key, and to be consistent you need to stay free from injury. Coaches at Madlab teach you the why, what and how of exercise, instead of just showing you once and moving on. That’s why you start with a Personal Trainer and work at your own pace.

Now you’re ready to start group training alongside some great people. Your coach for life will keep you on track with regular 1 on 1s, but the social environment, the community and the friends you make will give you a different sort of push and will help you reach new heights of fitness.
