THE GADGET AND INFORMATION GUY
TBear is the gadget and information guy at Madlab. He credits Rob Wolf’s teachings and seminars along with constant reading about the latest science and theories about nutrition.
As for the fitness side of things, TBear first took fitness seriously in 2004 after suffering a debilitating back injury and subsequent back surgery. Having the unique perspective of knowing first-hand how to recuperate and bounce back after a serious injury, TBears' coaching style is dedicated to helping clients do the same. Much of his methods come from the teachings of great mentors such as strength coaches, physiotherapists and mobility experts, gymnastics coaches and local health professionals, such as Teri-Lynn Fraser, Jeff Chalmers, Jeff Almon, Alana Shaw and Jeda Boughton.
At the end of the day, Tbear is truly a kid at heart and is always looking to make life fun.
“My ideal vision for our future is to continue to grow our performance and movement facility, with a golf course to the east, a beach to the west, a restaurant/bar/vineyard and garden to the south, and a beautiful house nearby with all the amenities to take care of my restless heart.”
Step 1:
Let’s make a plan
YOUR 1 ON 1 INTRO TO FITNESS FOR LIFE
We want to know more about you, your life, why you want to get fit and where we fit into the picture, we want to know what we can do to hold you accountable and how we can develop a plan of action to ensure you get fit for good this time.
Step 2:
PT First = Safety First
STARTING FOR THE LAST TIME
We all know that consistency is key, and to be consistent you need to stay free from injury. Coaches at Madlab teach you the why, what and how of exercise, instead of just showing you once and moving on. That’s why you start with a Personal Trainer and work at your own pace.
Step 3:
Your Hybrid Membership
GROUP + PT = FITNESS FOR FUN & PURPOSE
Now you’re ready to start group training alongside some great people. Your coach for life will keep you on track with regular 1 on 1s, but the social environment, the community and the friends you make will give you a different sort of push and will help you reach new heights of fitness.
