PROGRAMS, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.

Junior Apprentice Program

Program Outline

Takes new coaches through a 6-month mentorship course. This course is a combination of hands-on training and online courses. The hands-on training comes from working with a Madlab Mentor Coach in person and through online meetings, online forums and homework assignments.

The program's online component requires students to complete Madlab's online school courses. Students will be introduced to crucial technical development, sales training, retention and relationship building.

Tuition: $2,040 domestic students, $3,025 international students

Admission Requiements

19 Years of Age.

Minimum One Year Functional Fitness/Personal Training Experience.

Senior Apprentice Program

Program Outline

Students are enrolled in the Senior Apprentice Program upon completing the Junior Program.

This program provides coaches with a greater sense of how to manage, grow, and retain a book of clients.

Here they begin to find their niche and build a business to last a lifetime.

Tuition: $4,080 domestic students, $4,350 international students.

Admission Requiements

19 Years of Age.

Minimum One Year Functional Fitness Training/Experience.

MadLab School of Fitness Junior Apprentice Diploma or MadLab Fast Track Diploma.

Associate Coach Program

Program Outline

After completing the Junior and Senior programs, coaches are enrolled in the Associate Coach program.

Here they begin to find their niche and build a business to last a lifetime.

Tuition: $3,060

Admission Requiements

19 Years of Age.

Minimum One Year Functional Fitness Training/Experience.

Completion of MadLab School of Fitness Junior Apprentice Program or Fast Track Program and MadLab School of Fitness Senior Apprentice Program.

Fast Track Apprentice Coach Program

Program Outline

Madlab's Fast Track program is for coaches looking to learn as much as they can in a short time.

Coaches will be given the Junior and Senior program curriculum but will be expected to complete it in a much more condensed period. 

The Fast Track program is typically for travelling students looking to learn as much as possible to head back home with a plethora of knowledge.

Cost: $4,500

Admission Requiements

19 Years of Age.

Minimum One Year Functional Fitness/Personal Training Experience.

Level 1 Certification of Fitness Training or equivalent. 

Online Junior Apprentice 3.0 Coach Program

Program Outline

An online 6-month mentorship course. This course is a combination of hands-on training and online courses. The hands-on training comes in the form of working with a Madlab Mentor coach through online meetings, forums and homework assignments. The program's online component requires students to complete courses in Madlab’s online school that covers topics such as basic anatomy and physiology, coaching cues, and nutrition. 

Students will learn basic technical skills, sales training, retention and relationship building and overall how to manage their business effectively and efficiently in a facility other than Madlab School of FItness. 

Cost: $1244

Admission Requiements

Completing the Math and Fundamentals Online Course (80% passing rate) was accessed through Madlab's online learning platform'‘Kajab'' is required for all programs, online or in person.

Online Senior Apprentice 3.0 Coach Program

Program Outline

This is an ongoing mentorship program for established coaches. Students generally have 1-2 years of Madlab coaching experience, have at least ten clients in their book, and graduate from the Online Junior Apprentice 3.0 Program. 

Students work directly with a Madlab Mentor Coach in the Senior Apprentice program through online meetings and forums. The mentor coach checks each student's business numbers every month and gives homework assignments. The goal is to continuously see growth in each student's book until they are ready to graduate to the Associate Coach Program. There is no timetable for how long each student will spend on this program.

Cost: $1548

Admission Requiements

Graduation from Madlab Junior Apprentice Program.

Refund policy for all programs.

1.     If Madlab School of Fitness receives tuition from the student, or a person on behalf of the student, the institution will refund the student or the person who paid on behalf of the student, the tuition that was paid in relation to the program in which the student is enrolled if:

a.     the institution receives a notice of withdrawal from the student no later than seven days after the effective contract date and before the contract start date;

b.     the student, or the student’s parent or legal guardian signs the student enrolment contract seven days or less before the contract start date and the institution receives a notice of withdrawal from the student between the date the student, or the student’s parent or legal guardian, signed the student enrolment contract and the contract start date; or

c.     the student does not attend a work experience component and the institution does not provide all of the hours of instruction of the work experience component within 30 days of the contract end date.

2.     Madlab School of Fitness will refund the tuition for the program and all related fees paid by the student or a person on behalf of the student enrolled in the program if the student is enrolled in the program without having met the admission requirements and did not misrepresent his or her knowledge or skills when applying for admission.

3.     If a student does not attend any of the first 30% of the hours of instruction to be provided during the contract term, Madlab School of Fitness may retain up to 50% of the tuition paid under the student enrolment contract unless the program is provided solely through distance education.

4.     Unless the program is provided solely through distance education if Madlab School of Fitness receives a notice of withdrawal from a student:

a.     more than seven days after the effective contract date and

i.     at least 30 days before the contract start date, the institution may retain up to 10% of the tuition due under the student enrolment contract, to a maximum of $1,000.

ii.     less than 30 days before the contract start date, the institution may retain up to 20% of the tuition due under the student enrolment contract, to a maximum of $1,300.

b.     after the contract start date

i.     and up to and including 10% of the hours of instruction to be provided during the contract term have been provided, the institution may retain up to 30% of the tuition due under the student enrolment contract.

ii.    and after 10% but before 30% of the hours of instruction to be provided during the contract term have been provided, the institution may retain up to 50% of the tuition due under the student enrolment contract.

5.     Unless the program is provided solely through distance education if Madlab School of Fitness provides a notice of dismissal to a student and the date the institution delivers the notice to the student is:

a.     equal to or before 10% of the hours of instruction to be provided during the contract term have been provided, the institution may retain up to 30% of the tuition due under the student enrolment contract.

b.     after 10% but before 30% of the hours of instruction to be provided during the contract term have been provided, the institution may retain up to 50% of the tuition due under the student enrolment contract.

6.     If Madlab School of Fitness provides the program solely through distance education and the institution receives a student’s notice of withdrawal or the institution delivers a notice of dismissal to the student and:

a.     the student has completed and received an evaluation of his or her performance for up to 30% of the hours of instruction to be provided during the contract term, the institution may retain up to 30% of the tuition due under the student enrolment contract, or

b.     the student has completed and received an evaluation of his or her performance for more than 30% but less than 50% of the program, the institution may retain up to 50% of the tuition due under the student enrolment contract.

7.     Madlab School of Fitness will refund fees charged for course materials paid for but not received if the student provides a notice of withdrawal to the institution or the institution provides a notice of dismissal to the student.

8.     Refunds required under this policy will be paid to the student or a person who paid the tuition or fees on behalf of the student, within 30 days:

a.     of the date MadLab School of Fitness receives a student’s notice of withdrawal,

b.     of the date MadLab School of Fitness provides a notice of dismissal to the student,

c.     of the date that the registrar provides notice to Madlab School of Fitness that the institution is not complying with section 1(c) or 2 of this policy, or

d.     after the first 30% of the hours of instruction if section 3 of this policy applies.

9.     If an international student delivers a copy of a refusal of a study permit to Madlab School of Fitness, sections 1(a), 1(b), 4, 7, and 8 of this policy apply as if the copy of the refusal were a notice of withdrawal, unless:

a.     the international student requests an additional letter of acceptance for the same program that was the subject of the refusal of a study permit,

b.     or the program is provided solely through distance education.
