We can break mobility down into a few different pieces.
We need to train flexibility, which is the passive range of motion of a joint.
We also need strength in the ranges of motion that we have.
Combining these two elements creates mobility training, which we can now define as the active range of motion a joint has.
"Mobility training isn't just stretching. It's a holistic approach to ensuring joints and are healthy and strong." - Emile Maxwell Connaughton (Chesty)
AT HOME MOBILITY
Mobility training doesn't need much when it comes to equipment. Coach Emile makes mobility programs for anyone in any part of the world. He helps them understand the basics and introduces them to the concepts of training mobility.
Training at Madlab
ATTEND IN PERSON MOBILITY CLASSES
At Madlab, we preach balance and playing the long game. Part of playing the long game means maintaining healthy joints along with healthy muscles. Our Mobility Training sessions are open to all Madlab members. Mobility-only memberships are also available.
MOBILITY TAILORED TO YOU
One-on-one mobility allows Coach Emile to build a comprehensive blueprint of your body and its limitations. He then guides you through a tailored program built to tackle improving that cracking shoulder or that achy hip.
