A TRUE SHEPHERD
Sheppy discovered functional fitness in 2006 and immediately fell in love. Having grown up training and playing sports, he found myself thinking, "I wish I had found this type of training when I was a University-level athlete."
Making other people’s lives better is Sheppy’s catalyst. He truly believes that it is in giving that we receive. Being a coach at Madlab allows Sheppy to live this ethos each and every day.
Sheppys' goals are simple; He wants to help you work towards a stronger, fitter, and healthier you. He also knows first hand that you can't out-train bad nutrition.
Sheppy’s coaching style is patient and encouraging, with an emphasis on good technique.
“I believe in practicing what I preach, particularly when it comes to nutrition, mechanics and wellness. Do as I say and not as I do has never worked for me.”
Sheppy also knows it doesn’t hurt to laugh along the way.

We all know that consistency is key, and to be consistent you need to stay free from injury. Coaches at Madlab teach you the why, what and how of exercise, instead of just showing you once and moving on. That’s why you start with a Personal Trainer and work at your own pace.

Now you’re ready to start group training alongside some great people. Your coach for life will keep you on track with regular 1 on 1s, but the social environment, the community and the friends you make will give you a different sort of push and will help you reach new heights of fitness.
